You Already Know What's Good For You, Right?

Isn't it amazing...you know what is good or better for you but you are not doing it? Why is that?
It's pretty simple. We always want to be in balance....physically, mentally, emotionally.
If we are out of balance in one area of our life, we will automatically find a way to counterbalance that, no matter if it overwrites other goals or creates a new downward spiral.
Not happy at work? Food is "perfect" for medicating this feeling and pushing your fitness goals out of the window which results in even less energy for your job or making a change.
Not enough alone-time during the day? It's easy to sacrifice sleep just to get the perception of having some me-time which will decrease your productivity and worsen your time crunch.
Lacking contentment in your relationship? When you pour all your energy and time into your job or business, it can give you a sense of accomplishment even though you slowly burn out.
What now?
Stop trying to only fix the symptom and see what you can do about the root cause.
